Schedule - Orchard Fan Rate

Effective July 1, 2001

Availability:

Applicable to fans used for prevention of frost and moisture damage in orchards (fans installed after December 1988 will be considered under Schedule Two - Small Commercial). 

Energy Charge*:

Annual charge is $4.00 per horsepower. Annual charge is due and payable by March 1st. Air fan installations will be disconnected if payment is not received by April l.

Determination of Horsepower:

Horsepower for billing purposes shall be the motor manufacturer's nameplate rating of horsepower output.  The City may elect to determine rated horsepower as calculated from actual measurement of power input during a period of maximum normal use.

Rules and Regulations:

Service under this classification is subject to the City of Milton-Freewater Utilities General Rules and Regulations.

*Guaranteed amortization revenue contracts will be billed as contracted until expiration. Horsepower rate will take effect January 1 of year following contract expiration.
