Churches
Effective July 1, 2006
Availability:
Applicable to all churches which have REMS equipment installed
and in use. It is understood that the primary use of these
structures will occur in the evenings or on weekends. Should
such REMS installation or use cease, that account shall then be
billed according to the Small Commercial rate schedule including
the demand charge. Energy supplied under this schedule shall not
be sub-metered for resale to others.
Energy Charge:
All energy at $.0470 per KWHR
Service Charge:
The monthly service charge for an account inside of the City
Limits will be $10.00 for each meter. The monthly service
charge for an account outside of the City Limits will be $11.00
for each meter.
Delivery Point:
The above rates are based upon the supply of service to the
entire premises through a single delivery point and metering
point and at one voltage and phase. Separate supply for the
same customer at other points of consumption at different
voltages or phases will be separately metered and billed. At
the City's option, energy may be metered on the primary side of
the transformers for any customers requiring service at more
than one secondary voltage.
Load Management Discount
For customers whose equipment is controlled by City load
management system, the following discounts will be allowed:
Water heaters 2‑1/2%
Electric heat 2‑1/2%
Air conditioning 1%
For load management customers who may have only a portion of a
load controlled, the City reserves the right to reduce the
percentage discount.
Rules and Regulations:
Service under this classification is subject to the City of
Milton‑Freewater Utilities General Rules and Regulations.
Sprinkler System Controls and Other Small
Unmetered Loads:
Sprinkler system controls, intermitant lighting such as flashing
traffic control devices, and other small unmetered loads can be
served at the discretion of the Electric Superintendent at a
flat rate of $25 per calendar year. This fee will be due and
payable by March 1st. Service will be disconnected if payment
is not received by April 1st. The point of connection shall be
at the supply side of the customers
breaker panel or equipment. The Electric Superintendent may
determine that a metering installation is required, which will
cause the load to be a separate account and therefore must
comply with the applicable rate schedule.
